Esquinas Rainforest Lodge is a tropical
paradise in the remote jungle of southern Costa Rica,
surrounded by the untouched wilderness of new Piedras Blancas
National Park which is part of the Osa conservations area.
It was financed by the government of Austria as part of a
model project combining development aid, nature conservation,
and rainforest research. All profits go to the local community.
The biodiversity of Costa Rica‘s newest, remotest and least
known national park, Piedras Blancas, is one of the highest
in all of Central America. Esquinas Rainforest Lodge is the
ideal base for excursions into the dense jungle, which has
hardly been explored or researched. |
